Really fresh and hot food. Enjoyed the view of the car garage and the service we received. Definitely recommend as I didn't know this place existed until we were passing through.

What a great find! A business colleague showed me this place one day when the restaurant wasn't open, and I had vowed to bring my car-loving son back as soon as possible. I knew he would love the environment, but had no idea the restaurant experience would be so great. We went on a Saturday afternoon, around 12:00. The hostess asked if we had reservations, which we did not. However, she was able to seat us within five minutes. During our time there five different wait people checked on us, refilled our drinks and generally made us feel extremely welcome. The badass bacon was delicious. A bit salty, but the syrup glaze cut the salt perfectly. The omelette was perfect and my son's chicken fried steak was huge, and he loved it. I highly recommend taking a tour of the car storage facility. It's ten dollars a person and runs every half hour, at least on Saturday. The young man giving our tour knew lots about cars in general, and then also had interesting stories about some of the vehicles stored there and their owners. 10/10 I highly recommend this place.

What a great experience! If you are a car lover, this is a dream spot for brunch! With a view of the amazing cars in storage, the food and service were top notch! Can't wait to go back again!

My boyfriend & I came here for date night & we're not disappointed! He is a huge car guy so being able to check out the garage while eating was a very cool touch. Sometimes places with extra special ambiance can rely on that to drive in costumers and have subpar food but not here! The meatloaf & mashed potato's were like the warm hug I didn't know I needed & the Wagyu burger was to die for. On Sundays they have tours into the garage & we will definitely be back to try out the brunch!

Food is great. Service is very good. Ambiance is unique and fun. We have been working our way through the seasonal menus. So far, we haven't found a single clunker.

My out-of-town mother-in-law had sent a story about the Derby restaurant to us as something cool to do. When my in-laws came to visit in November, they flew into Love Field, and with the Derby restaurant being less than 10 minutes away from the airport, I thought it was the perfect way to kick off their visit. The cars are something to see, but they did say that tours of the garage are only on Saturdays and Sundays. They offer a nice selection of food from small bites to bigger meals. Everything we got was delicious. My mother-in-law said the Wayugu burger was incredible. And my fish and chips were very good and not overly greasy. My husband and his dad both got the brisket grilled cheese and raved about it. The staff was friendly and attentive. And the whole restaurant was immaculately clean. Highly recommend for a dining experience whether you're just looking for a fun evening now or a place to entertain your out of town guests.

The Views of the cars and motorcycles is great -- which is why you come here, right? Servers / staff were very nice. Food was good (not great). Really enjoyed getting to walk around and see the cars (from the observation areas) and chat with the staff. They can keep up to about 260 cars in the whole place. Cars range in all years and all models.

If you like good food and are a car enthusiast, this is your place to check out. The Derby is co-located with "The Shop" which is really a country club of sorts for gearheads. All kinds of cool and unique rides to check out while you wait for your meal. The Derby serves "elevated southern comfort food". Menu consists of a nice variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and main entrees along with a selection of desserts. Staff was friendly, fairly quick and informative about the different dishes. Went with a group and everyone tried something different. We tried the Cuban Sandwich, Pork Tenderloin, Meatloaf, shrimp Pasta and a few other things. Everyone said all was tasty. Full bar is available as well. Don't let the warehouse vibe from outside be off putting. Really with a try. Check it out.
